Spring is here!

These last couple of weeks spring has come, some days even felt like summer.

A lot has happened in our garden. We've planted a Meyer Lemon tree in a pot and it even got a green lemon. So excited to taste the result.
Yesterday the daffodils (påskliljorna) started blooming. Perfect timing for Easter coming up next weekend.

The other flowers in the garden:

Our herb garden is starting to come back again. Some herbs died last year, but most of them actually survived both the hot summer last year and the move from pot to ground.
I've also planted vegetables in pots; arugula, lettuce, sugar snap peas, tomato, squash, red bell pepper and red hot pepper. So far I can use the herbs, lettuce and arugula in my cooking.

I've also brought up tomato seedling myself. So far they're pretty small, but hopefully they'll be big enough to give tomatoes this summer.
Just outside our front porch we have these two amazing plants, fredskalla is their name in Swedish, no idea what they're called in English. So beautiful when they're blooming and they seem to keep the same flower for weeks.

That's it from Mountain View. Today we're going to a BBQ birthday picnic. Weather looks good so hopefully we'll be able to sit outside ;)
